Blackpots was founded in December 2025 with a passion for sharing the heart of Ethiopian coffee culture with the world. Based in Lawrenceville, Georgia, we are proud and honored to celebrate Ethiopia as the birthplace of coffee.
We focus exclusively on Ethiopian coffee because there is still so much to discover. Ethiopia is home to an extraordinary variety of coffee regions, flavors, traditions, and growing environments, each with its own unique story.
What began as a love for Ethiopian tradition has grown into a broader celebration of its coffee, culture, craftsmanship, and the rituals that have brought people together for generations.

I’m Gabriele, founder of Blackpots, a proud husband and father of two. Raised in Ethiopia, I grew up surrounded by coffee, culture, and tradition, along with a strong work ethic that I owe to my parents.
Moving to the United States gave me the push to dream bigger and turn that passion into something meaningful. I created Blackpots to share my roots, celebrate where coffee began, and bring the authentic Ethiopian coffee experience to the world.
